King David Purdy

David is surely one of the most unusual guitarists around today! His style incorparates a combination of down-home blues, jazz swing and surf guitar, a one off and manages to avoid all the cliche's of the blues guitar world, a great singer too. He started out in the early eighties with his old friend Big Joe Louis on the South Coast of England and together they learned how to play tough blues like nobody else could and had a little band called 'Blues Express', not to be confused with any recent bands going by the same name. One of their first encounters with the blues was with Eddie C. Cambell, a blues man from the U.S.A. who decided to make the S. Coast his home for a while, Eddie would visit them at their house where they would play together. David can also be found leading his own band called the 'King David Trio'.

Matt Radford

Matt is probably one of the UK's finest and most sought after Double Bass players and has made a considerable name for himself in the Blues/RnB world not too mention the Rock n Roll scene. Whilst many try to capture the spirit & sound of the classic blues players like Willie Dixon, few succeed! His playing has a wonderful rounded style, always swinging and exciting but also poetic and beautiful as was the work of many of the blues masters. Matt is also an artist/sculptor/stone mason and is often working on many interesting projects being commissioned to produce art and renovate fine detail stone carvings on preserved buildings. When not playing with Little George he sometimes can be found playing with the likes of Big Joe Louis and James Hunter.

Mike Watts

Mike is undoubtably one of the best Rhythm & Blues/Swing drummers on the scene today and was once the resident drummer with the James Hunter band. The way that Mike plays is very driving and colourful, he really knows how to make those shuffles swing, often being the first choice of many bands. Some of the artists who have chosen him to play with over the years include; Van Morrison, also performing recently with Jimmy Page and Robert Plant and recording some tracks with them on Atlantic as a tribute to Sun Records. Mike is also a great artist and some of his work includes Little George's CD & poster artwork, also a 'James Hunter' CD.
